Government Agencies chose ProPricer GE to handle many of the mission critical tasks assigned to the Source Selection process:
Cost Data Collection and Management
ProPricer GE utilities enable the automatic import of contractor estimates, rate extensions and basis of estimate text and backup files. The system can import data files created by ProPricer, Excel or other pricing applications – both ASCII and XML formats are supported. When contractors update their cost and pricing data, the government analysts can incorporate the new data and report the changes in minutes, rather than days.
Most Probable Cost and Independent Cost Analysis
ProPricer GE enables analysts to quickly and efficiently apply government recommended forward pricing rates and incorporate the results of technical analyses to prepare most probable cost positions. ProPricer GE can also be used to formulate the Government’s independent cost positions.
Normalized Bidder Data
ProPricer GE gives analysts the ability to normalize direct and indirect cost elements from the different contractors competing in the source selection process. Once the contractors’ common cost elements are defined, accurate and efficient comparative analysis reports are created at summary or detailed levels of the WBS.
Briefing Reports and Documentation
ProPricer GE includes source selection briefing reports and procurement file documentation reports. Contractor comparison reports of each most probable cost position can be generated by CLIN, WBS or other meaningful segregations. The system also includes the ProPricer set of over 60 standard reports, the ability to create Ad-hoc report layouts, and the custom report writer.
