Press Release – Report MasterMind Release 1.1
SAN DIEGO, CA – August 9, 2001 – Executive Business Services, Inc. today announced the release of Report MasterMind 1.1, the latest evolution of their popular companion software.
In addition to the existing spreadsheet generation capabilities, this new release adds custom report generation. “Essentially, if a user can think it, Report Mastermind can help them create it.” said Ken Silver, General Manager.
“The time and cost savings are realized in three major areas”, said Ken Silver, General Manager of the division developing the product.
- First, the design of the report is done from within our core product, ProPricer, with a user-friendly, WYSIWYG interface, allowing those who are not report “gurus” to create sophisticated layouts in a fraction of the time.
- Second, if changes are made to the proposal after the report has been created, the user only needs to rerun the report to populate it with the latest proposal data.
- Third, errors are minimized because labor-intensive activities such as formula creation are done automatically from within the layout.
Companies doing business with federal agencies are many times required to submit proposal data on customized reports that, in most cases, must be recreated for each new bid. Each government agency can specify their own report format with varying degrees of complexity. This requires a greater investment in proposal preparation, exceeding the effort needed to create the initial proposal using the contractor’s pricing system.
The release date of Report Mastermind 1.1, which will provide custom reports, is August 9th, 2001. It is being made available as an add-on product to ProPricer, a proposal pricing software product used by many Fortune 100 companies.
