SCEA sets the standard for promoting cost estimating and analysis within Government and industry, for providing training in the Body of Knowledge, and for the propagating of ethics and standards of conduct throughout the profession. Three out of every four years, the annual conference is a “joint” conference with the International Society of Parametric Analysts (ISPA). Every fourth year, ISPA holds their conference in an international location and SCEA remains in the U.S.
